PATRICIA NEAL

Born 2 Novembre 1957 in Paris, France.

1973     Studied ceramics and design in the porcelain, faïences and lava decorating dept of the " Lycée A.Renoir " in Paris;

1975      End of B.T.S. studies in ceramics and applied arts. Separer at Paris art college , mural art ,decoration and drawing section.

1977     Arrived in the Lot. Employed as a decorator for the " Atelier de Tournefeuille " in Lamothe– Fenelon.

1979     First inscription as an "  artiste libre "

1980     Inscription at the chamber of craftsmen in the Lot. Creation and inauguration of the " Atelier du Roc " near Souillac.

1981      Passed professional aptitude certificate, ( C.A.P. ) as a thrower of earthenware , stoneware and porcelain.

1985     Received tuition for accounting and crafts business management.

1990     Took part in the competition for the best french crafts people , " Meilleurs ouvriers de France ", in the high fired earthenware section.

1991     Moved to Souillac town center to open " Faiences Patricia H. ", our new workshops and showroom. Received county crafts prize " Grand Prix Départemental des Métiers d’Art.

1994     Founder member of the association "  Au Fil Des Arts " 

1998     Amalgamation of the two companies," Faiences Patricia H. " and "  Poterie de Bourzolles ".

2004     The shop and workshop in Souillac are moved to our current premises

2009    "Trompe l'oeil" painting courses and fresco painting courses in Périgueux
